Itinerary:
After pick-up from your hotel we have a scenic drive through the Judean Desert, going down to the deepest place on Earth – The Dead Sea. After a drive along the Dead Sea Shore we reach the modern Visitor Center at the bottom of the mighty cliff of Masada. We climb the mountain by Cable Car and hear the stories about King Herod the Great who built the most unbelievable palaces on this high rock in the middle of the desert, and of the Jewish Rebels who defended this place against the Romans and became a symbol for the modern State of Israel. We descend the mountain by Cable Car again and head to Qumran, the place where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Towards the end of the day it is Pleasure time! We enter one of the beaches in the northern part of the Dead Sea where we can enjoy the Sea, where you can't swim – only float…! - Before heading back to Jerusalem.
