Our car will pick you up at your hotel, driving towards the Ein Gedi Field School, where our hike begins. We start hiking up through old balsam orchards and on to the "Dry Waterfall", also known as the "Window Waterfall", from where we have an unusual view of the Dead Sea, a strong contrast to the Desert, where we are. We climb over the cliff overlooking Nachal David (David's Creek) and hike towards the Chalcolithic Temple, dating back some 6000 years ago! Scholars still puzzle about some mysteries regarding this place and the people who lived there... From here we hike through the different springs of Ein Gedi, where we can dip and enjoy the coolness of the water after the long hike through the desert. After the Shulamit Spring we hike down to the more famous David Waterfall and walk through the reserve and back to the Field School, where our car awaits us to take you back to your hotel.
